Stephen King's It crept back onto the scene in 2017, when the first of two film revamps turned out. The second film, put together like the first with respect to King's 1,100-page 1986 blockbuster, isn't a spin-off - it's a continuation of the plot, occurring 27 years after the main film. "In case we're recounting to the narrative of grown-ups, we will have flashbacks that return us to the '80s and educate the story in the present day," chief Andy Muschietti disclosed to Entertainment Weekly
